I’m a millennial and have a smartphone, so of course this is not my first experience with Netflix. However I took a huge break from Netflix and haven’t watched any since moving to China. For one I really felt to busy and I would rather read a book, take a nap, go explore than get sucked in. However, this show got me. I reinstalled Netflix on my phone and stumbled across “The Bodyguard” which is a 6 episode season and WOW. It blew me away. The episodes are longer than the typical 45 minutes and this show is beyond anything I could expect.

Well let’s start that it’s British with BBC. All things done by BBC are just better. Second, it has politics and I love a political show. It has conspiracy and the relationships and characters have so much depth! It’s action packed, surprising, intriguing and I had anxiety watching it.

Now don’t worry, I’m not obsessed with Netflix and still reading 2-4 books all at once, listening to podcasts and doing intelligent things besides watching Tv. But this show really blew me away!

Okay back to my regular shanghai programming. I just had to share. WATCH IT. I’ll even give you my Netflix password to watch it. Maybe.
