“Going to the mountains is going home.”
-John Muir
Life is all about giving, exploring and finding your individual equilibrium.
And everyone’s equilibrium looks different. I’m not saying that it is time to throw in the towel and give up your wild ways, but there comes a point where the wild ways need to be put in their place for the overall picture. Because sometimes its easy to see all the trees and get lost in the forrest and forget the bigger picture.
There is nothing more special, invigorating and not to mention bloody fun than going up to the slopes for the day with friends and having the time of your life. Nothing else matters up there other than the beautiful views, the snow and spending time with friends. Because the truth is that life is stressful and complicated…but only because we make it that way. There is no reason that life can’t be simple, it’s our own choosing to make it complicated.
And the best way to remind yourself admits the chaos that life can bring that life is simply beautiful is to go outside, breathe in the altitude, drop the attitude and be.
Be you.
Be here.
Be happy.
Because the world doesn’t need more people just living to live, they need more people living their passions and reaching beyond their own potential. Colorado is a magical place. Come visit and see for yourself.
